Fall 2008 - Moodroom dresses Nun’s island
Moodroom was chosen by the Quebec interior designer Louise Saint-Laurent, to decorate a showroom-condo of the new LEED certified housing complex Le Vistal, located on the shores of the St. Lawrence River.

2008-10-14 - The jury for the Interieur Ferdie awards spent the day at Moodroom
The jury for the Interieur Ferdie awards spent the day at Moodroom to choose the winners of this prestigious award which recognizes the best design creations of the year. Surrounded by a cut-out nature, the jury enjoyed a breakfast and lunch served in Guzzini ware (the very colourful Vintage collection) and discovered the unique selection of Moodroom products. In the evening over twenty designers joined the group for a cocktail and a guided tour of the studio.

Moodroom is hosting the jury deliberations which will determine the winners of the prestigious Interieur Ferdi prizes 2008. Moodroom will be closed to the public on TUESDAY OCTOBER 14 2008.
2008-10-07 - Tea break and design with Mono
The tour de ville event organized by the city of Montreal, to showcase the design hot-spots of the city, visited Moodroom for a Coffee Break and Design tour. Our guests discovered the histories which shape the origins of many international brands and tea aficionados enjoyed a cup from the much acclaimed Mono (Germany) tea pot.
2008/09/27-28 - The journées de la culture at Moodroom
Moodroom is a proud supporter of the design culture in Montreal. The public is invited to come and explore our studio-workshop, which is open all weekend, to discover the history, the know-how and the craftsmanship behind each product. Come for a visit or to shop this Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th from 11am to 5pm.

2008-09-16 - Moodroom on the set of Radio Canada
Following the interview by Stephane Leduc for the show Mosaique, Moodroom is once again in front of the camera, this time following a guest appearance by Danielle Ouimet on the day time talk show Pour le Plaisir. She introduced, for a large audience and public, a selection of brands available at Moodroom. They were such a success that the main host bought some of the products at the end of the shooting.
2008-09-12 - A television crew in the Moodroom workshop
The TVA show Mosaique (Québec television) took a stroll through picnic in a cut-out nature while interviewing Laurent Guez, president, about the Moodroom concept and the links between fashion and interior design.
2008-09-10 - Opening of the studio-workshop Moodroom
The Moodroom opening event was a success; over 300 people attended the introduction to this first instance of the Moodroom concept. The workshop is now open for sales and visits on the shore of the Lachine canal.
